Thanksgiving Menu
Well, I found out today that a total of nine people will be celebrating Thanksgiving at our house this year. We want things to be nice and easy and relaxing for everyone, so we're splitting up the menu and getting a pre-cooked cheater turkey.
Here's how the menu is looking:
pumpkin dip with graham crackers
turkey
bundt bread
stuffing
cranberry sauce
sweet potatoes
mac-n-cheese
fruit salad
green bean casserole
evil gooey cake
pumpkin pie
beer
tea
After we eat and the men chill out in front of the football game, I plan on getting all of the ladies visiting and feeling crafty while building some gingerbread houses. Here's to a nice and relaxed day...

That sounds like so much fun!! You would be so proud of me. I was a chaperone today for the 9yo and her fellow Girl Scouts. They were making Christmas ornaments, with several other troops, to deliver to a local nursing home.
The 9yo and I both got inspired by the whole affair and resolved to make a trip to JoAnn soon to find some crafty ornaments we can make at home.
I'll have pictures when we get around to it!!
