I'm a Food Groupie
Chef Duff Goldman is in town. And he's headlining a cooking demonstration and cook-off -- Super Chefs Live -- tomorrow at Barton Creek Square Mall. Ever since I heard the news this morning, I've been trying to decide what to wear. Odd, huh?!?!
Mom is going with me, and we really don't plan on staying the full five hours. (There is shopping to be done at IKEA afterall.) I just wanna stay long enough to see what's going on and maybe get a picture with the Ace of Cakes. Or at least a picture of him.
And if they happen to be offering any tastes of anything yummy, luckily I'm weighing in before we go to the show.
Speaking of... I'm nervous about weighing tomorrow. I've had a good week, but it's also the week before, well, that's TMI.
My day in numbers...
Breakfast: Smart Ones muffin: 4 points
Mid-morning snack: pretzels: 2 points
Lunch: chicken sandwich: 6 points
pickled okra: 0 points
(For anyone keeping count, my sandwich was piled with several veggies, including cucumber, tomato, alfalfa sprouts and lettuce.)
Mid-afternoon snack: WW snack cake: 1 point
graham crackers and peanut butter: 4 points
Dinner: English muffin pizzas: 5 points
TOTAL: 22 points. Again, good.
